Main Duties and Repsonsibilities

  • Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliance, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.

  • Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, toilets, etc.)

  • Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work (e.g. preparing surfaces and using brush or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.)

  • Organization in offices and spaces (e.g. furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, storage bins, lighting, file cabinets, etc.) to accommodate user needs and maximize office space using various hand, power and specialty tools, dollies and hand trucks.

  • IT knowledge (set up computers, contact with Ministry IT department when needed)

  • Perform landscaping tasks and general outdoor maintenance

  • Monitor and assist external contractors

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Provide transportation services to Embassy staff and visiting delegations.

Your day will be planned daily together with the admin team depending on needed tasks.


  • Knowledge in maintaining office building

  • General maintenance knowledge and experience including basic HVAC knowledge

  • Good customer service and good communication skills

  • Must be able to do heavy lifting

  • Must have an impeccable driving record and clean driving licence

  • Good English skills required (Danish not required)
