The Mexican Cultural Institute is proud to host Mexican author Álvaro Enrigue as he discusses his written works and speaks on his experiences as a modern writer of fiction in Mexico.

Álvaro Enrigue is the author of the novel La muerte de un instalador which won him the Joaquin Moritz prize in 1996. His book Muerte súbita won the Herralde award in 2013 and he currently teaches at Princeton and Columbia Universities in addition to collaborating with publications like The New York Times, The Believer and The London Review of Books.
