Puppetry Theater Show & Shadow Workshop Lab

Join us for a day of family fun for all ages with Sweden’s famous Marionetteatern. Enjoy a puppet show, discover the endless possibilities of shadow theatre and more!

PERFORMANCE –  THE STORY OF THE LITTLE OLD MAN by Barbro Lindgren (from age 4)
Shows: 11:00 am and 1:00 pm

Imaginative puppetry addresses loneliness, friendship and trust. A lonely little old man forges a much-valued friendship with a big dog. But when the big dog makes friends with a little girl in a polka-dot dress, the little old man worries that the dog will forget him…

No reservation required, just show up! FREE admission.

Workshops: 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm (duration of workshop: 60 min)

Shadow theater is a visual theatrical art form and one of the oldest storytelling methods.  The professional puppeteers of Marionetteatern will help you discover the magic of shadow theater! Make your own shadow puppet and help put on a shadow puppet show.
