Description: Elephants DC and the Embassy of Gabon are hosting a reception and silent auction in honor of Gabon's forest elephants. A nation with more than 60 percent of the Africa's endangered forest elephants and a strong commitment to wildlife protection, Gabon is the last refuge for this vulnerable, and vital, species.
Doors open at 6:30pm for photos with His Excellency, Michael Moussa-Adamo.
Funds from the event will support the work of Elephants DC to end the ivory trade and to advance elephant wellbeing, the forest elephants of Gabon through PROGRAM and the Kenyan elephants under the care of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
