10th Anniversary of the Marriage Equality Law in Spain
A special screening of the film For 80 Days to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the same-sex marriage law in Spain.
This month will mark the 10th anniversary of the passing of the legalization of same-sex marriage in Spain. Spain was the third country in the world to take this step, after Belgium and the Netherlands. To celebrate this milestone, the Consulate General of Spain in Washington, D.C. and SPAIN arts & culture invite you to a special screening of the film For 80 Days (80 Egunean). Before the screening, a presentation on Spain’s same-sex marriage law will be held by the Justice Counselor of the Embassy of Spain, Mr. Jorge Carrera, introduced by the Consul General of Spain, Mr. Enrique Sardá.
