Art between the Lines:

Sustainability & Interdependency

Special Closing Exhibition Hours with the Artists:

Saturday, Sept 12, 12-5 pm

Korean Cultural Center Washington, D.C.

2370 Massachusetts Ave. NW

If you missed the opening of our latest exhibition, stop by the KCC this Saturday between noon and 5 pm, when you can meet artists Eunmee Chung and Judy Stone during extended hours.

Art between the Lines, an exhibition featuring works by Eunmee Chung and Judy Stone, explores the notion of sustainable art as both model and mirror for our modern society. Through contrasting installation, metalworking, visual, and fabric arts, this dialogue between Chung, of Korea, and Stone, of the United States, touches on a universal trend in creative fields today: true sustainability requires not just respect for nature, but an understanding of the interdependency of individuals, society, and our environment. This exhibition will remain on display during regular hours until Sept. 15.
