The JICC and the Japan Commerce Association of Washington, D.C. are delighted to present this 2015 drama starring former member of Japanese idol group AKB48, Yuko Oshima!
Hachiko Hojo (Yuko Oshima) is one of the top train attendants on the famed Odakyu “Romance Car” luxury express train from Tokyo to Hakone. One day, when Hachiko is about to return to Tokyo, she runs into trouble with movie producer Yoichi (Koji Okura). When Yoichi happens across a discarded letter between Hachiko and her mother, he convinces Hachiko to seek her mother out in Hakone. This launches the pair on an incident-filled road trip around Hachiko's childhood town.
