by Slovenian artist Joze Domjan

Friday, April 1, 2016

12:00 pm-03:00 pm

2175 K Street NW | Entrance on 22nd St.

Join us for a public viewing of select pieces from Slovenian artist Joze Domjan's exhibit "Eye.Thought.Hand." during an extended lunch period. This is a great way to get warmed up for April's First Friday Dupont Circle events later in the day. The Delegation is a neighbor to Dupont Circle.

One of the leading Slovenian poster designers, Joze Domjan left an indelible mark in the field of cultural posters. Due to their persuasive conceptual design, his theatre posters not only address the individual on the street and represent his/her first contact with the theatre performance, but also give sense to the role and meaning of the poster as a communication medium.

The exhibit gives an overview of the artist's work from 1973 through 2013.

This program is in conjunction with the Embassy of Slovenia on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Slovenian Independence.

The event is free, but reservations are required. This event is expected to fill up fast.
