The discovery of a 400-year old Korean masterpiece is set to rock the art world. If properly restored, it could fetch upwards of $40 million in the international market. Ruthless gallery owner Bae Tae-jin (Uhm Jung-hwa) has the work in her possession, but needs the help of a specialist, Lee Kang-jun (Kim Rae-won), to bring it to life. Such a high pricetag attracts criminals and collectors alike however. To make matters worse, the restoration reveals a dark secret and a dangerous scheme that threatens to take down Lee and his entire team, unless they can outsmart the ones pulling the strings.
The film presentation will be subtitled in English!
Director Park Hee-Kon's Insadong Scandal (2009) thrilled audiences with its classic Korean combination of action, comedy, and criminal caper. In Korean with English subtitles, 109 minutes.
