Ninja Academy! Summer Recycle Series

The JICC welcomes you to the Ninja Academy! Bring your old clothes to create a ninja headband, mask, armor plate, and ninja tool holder. Create your own shuriken, ninja throwing stars and other ninja tools out of cardboard so you can practice your skills at a fun target game while learning Japanese words!

This is the final event in the JICC Summer Recycle Series this summer to celebrate O-matsuri (festival) season. Please bring your own (labeled) scissors, unwanted clothing, cardboard products, and toilet paper rolls. Please be advised that the JICC will NOT be collecting your unused products.

Materials: scissors, old clothing (long sleeve shirts, short sleeve shirts, socks), cardboard, toilet paper rolls

Recommended for ages 8+ with an accompanying adult

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required for security purposes. Doors open 30 minutes prior to start of the program.
