The Mexican Cultural Institute is proud to host art historian Tatiana Flores for a lecture titled 'From Social to Artistic Revolution: The Making of Modern Mexican Art.'

Her talk will include findings from her book Mexico's Revolutionary Avant-Gardes: From Estridentismo to ¡30-30!, a revisionist and interdisciplinary account of Mexican modern art as seen through two avant-garde movements. Tatiana Flores (Ph.D., Columbia University) is a specialist in modern and contemporary Latin American art, she is active as an independent curator and art critic, as well as an author.
