In this exhibit "Tales of an African Child" Kenneth Namalomba depicts the African child in a deeper way than the stereotypical Picture-oriented way. Kenneth tries to show the conflict that exists between the inner self and the person the society expects one to be which is often characterised by a mask to show the conflict and a sealed mouth to show the lack of voice in the people. All this results from the fact that Kenneth does his Art under his movement "Our Voice through Art" in which he tries to be the voice of the voiceless. His paintings range from the problems in Africa to the happy stories like music and dances of which helps people forget all the problems at hand.
