After high school student Young-sin (Park So-dam) is suddenly hit by a car in the night, she begins suffering from mysterious ailments. Father Kim (Kim Yoon-seok) visits her in the hospital and becomes convinced she is possessed by demonic spirits. He begins preparing for an exorcism with the help of the Korean Catholic Church, but is unable to get a deacon to take part. Seminary student Choi (Gang Dong-won) is chosen for the job, but they have only one day left to save Young-sin, with all their lives at stake.
The Priests (2015) from rising new director Jang Jae-hyun, thrilled audiences with its spooky Korean twist on supernatural horror, and earned young actress Park So-dam major awards at the PaekSang Arts Awards and Blue Dragon Film Awards.
