Georgetown Ambassadors' Summit on Climate Change and International Security

Georgetown University would like to formally invite you to attend "The Ambassadors Summit: Climate and Conflict." This is an SFS Centennial Event that addresses Climate Change and International Security.

Currently, we have booked the esteemed Gaston Hall for April 5th. In terms of structure, we will have an ambassadors panel that features ambassadors who will address their respective state's efforts in tackling climate change and its related security concerns. Ambassador Peter Wittig of Germany, Ambassador Lars Gert Lose of Denmark and Ambassador Selwin Hart of Barbados will serve on the panel. In addition, the panel will be moderated by Dr. Kathleen Hicks, Senior VP and Director of International Security at CSIS.

The event will be open to the press and public so please feel free to bring as many people as you would like. Furthermore, we are partnering with the Georgetown BMW Center for Western Europe, Dean Joel Hellman, Dean Dan Byman, former White House Communications Director Jen Psaki and her GU Politics team.
