Movie screening and discussion "the Path to Freedom"

On January 13th Lithuania will commemorate the Day of the Defenders of Freedom to remember and honor those killed and injured during the attack by the Soviet Army on peaceful civilians in 1991.

On this occasion the Embassy of Lithuania warmly invites you to the screening of the movie

“Vytautas Landsbergis - the Path to Freedom”

A discussion “Not Alone on the Path to Freedom” will follow the screening of the movie. The guest speakers will share their insights about the support from the international community to Lithuania’s fight for freedom after attempted Soviet coup in January 1991, the importance of information reaching international community and their personal experience during those critical days and nights.
