The Japan Information & Culture Center, the Embassy of Japan and the Washington Innovation Network (WIN) are pleased to introduce experts in the fields of digital society/economy, innovation, and human resources development for the next generation.
In the very near future, Asia will be at the epicenter of a global economy through its development of advanced concepts and technologies revolving around the Internet of Things, AI, Blockchain technology, Big Data and Cloud technology. Traditional e-governments have been government centric. In contrast, the goal of the next generation of digital governments will be to construct a system of strong public-private collaboration domestically as well as internationally.
The speakers will discuss emerging challenges created by the prospective formation of digital governments in Asia and address the opportunities for advancing US-Japan collaboration in response. They will also examine the importance of human resources development in supporting digital governments manage these challenges.
