The art gallery of the Embassy of Peru in the United States is honored to present one of the most representative Peruvian painters of the last decades, Enrique Polanco, who will exhibit his pictorial work for the first time in the United States capital.
The paintings that make up the exhibition are, in turn, a tribute to the Peruvian photographer Martín Chambi, considered an icon of Peruvian culture.
Applying a personal technique of photographic lighting, Polanco proposes a chromatic dialogue between him and Chambi, a conversation where both are transformed and fused into a single identity, creating a unique artistic surface where mutual respect prevails.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition will be attended by the artist.
