About the artist
Calenna Garbä received the Argentine "Estrella de Mar" Award for the best show for the 2017 season ("Calenna Clásica Liggera"). She was the first transsexual woman to receive the award in this field. In November 2017, she set a cultural precedent for Argentina, when she presented her music in New York with the Queer Urban Orchestra. That was the first time that a transgender composer performed with one of the most important LGBT orchestras in the city. Garbä was selected among the 60 distinguished Argentine of 2018 by the news portal Infobae.
