The Washington DC Chapter of the Lithuanian-American Community, Inc. and The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania are proud to present the Washington DC Premier of the Documentary Film DISPLACED. The documentary film, DISPLACED, tells the remarkable story of Lithuanian families seeking safety in the wake of WWII told by the children who survived. This important Lithuanian history has been too long neglected. It is time to hear and see this fateful and historic journey to freedom. Reception and discussion will follow with the documentary film’s Executive Producer: Joe Jakubauskas. The film and discussion will be held in English.
