Fair Water at By the People Festival: There is Water.

During the By The People Festival and as part of the program “Fair Water: A Right of All,” a panel discussion aims to explore current water-related challenges from an artistic perspective.


This panel discussion by artists from different fields will address both their work about the global water challenges and the importance of sustainable art practices to protect water resources. Panelists will include art curator Blanca de la Torre, environmental photographer Daniel Beltrá, and artists and academics Susannah Sayler and Edward Morris.

This event is part of the Fair Water: A Right of All program.

  • Doors open 20 minutes before posted showtime.

  • Ticket holders will have access to the event while space is available. A reservation does not guarantee admission.

  • Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • No Late Seating, ticket holders may not be allowed to enter 20 minutes after posted showtime.

How to get there: The best way to arrive is by public transportation. The closest Metro station is Columbia Heights (Green and Yellow line). Limited metered and two-hour zoned parking is available in the surrounding neighborhoods. Public parking garage is available at DC USA Shopping Mall (Columbia Heights Metro Station).
